The Binks Trust Renewable Energy Conference is free and will take place on 23 & 24 June at the Clarendon Laboratory in Oxford. The event will explore New and Emerging PV and provide an opportunity to network and share recent advances.
This event will be a mixture of invited talks from experts in the field (23 June), and an opportunity for postdoctoral researchers and PhD students to present their research in a very interactive and friendly environment (24 June). There will be 7 min talks (+ 3 min Q&A) for post docs and 3 min “speed talks” for PhD students that day. We welcome applications from 1st year PhD students.
Invited speakers include: Sam Stranks, (University of Cambridge), Wei Zhang (University of Surrey), Jenny Clark, (University of Sheffield), Petra Cameron (University of Bath), Marina Freitag (Newcastle University), Katie Shanks (University of Exeter)
We will also host a careers panel on 24 June with advice from experts on how researchers and students can progress their careers in either an academic or an industrial direction.
If you are a student/postdoc and would like to participate on 24 June as a speaker, please submit a short abstract to clare.moloney@physics.ox.ac.uk by 27 May 2022.
