An introduction to perovskite solar cell research for aerospace applications at SPECIFIC, Swansea University, together with their studies on its potential application for High Altitude Pseudo Satellites (HAPS) and space. Initial findings have already shown that perovskite solar cells could be promising for next generation solar cells for aerospace applications.
Dr Wing Chung Tsoi, Organic Photovoltaics and Perovskites Research Lead will give an overview of progress in this exciting novel area. Early Career Researcher Dr Harrison Ka Hin Lee will discuss the High Altitude Pseudo Satellites (HAPS) applications while PhD student Declan Hughes will cover space applications. The talks will total 20mins. There will be 20mins after for any questions.
This webinar is aimed at photovoltaics researchers and anyone with an interest in solar research and aerospace.
